PROKOFIEFF & HINDEMITH
Description:
Trained by the famous Russian teacher Mikhail Voskresensky, pianist Sergei Kudryakov won two Swiss competitions, the 2002 Geneva International Music Competition and the 2006 Geza Anda International Piano Competition. In Prokofiev's "Romeo and Juliet," he gave a brilliant performance in which the orchestration seemed to come to life. Hindemith's "Four Temperaments," which originates from the theory of the four humors proposed by Hippocrates of ancient Greece, will overwhelm you with its expressive and tense performance with the Bolshoi Theater's string section.
