The Catalytic Converter Shield for the Lexus GX550 is designed to provide dual protection. It is crafted from 1/4 inch aluminum, which not only safeguards the transmission but also serves as a shield for the catalytic converter. This shield is engineered to be compatible with the Overtrail OEM skid plates, allowing it to replace the rear section of these plates seamlessly as a direct bolt-on replacement.

This Catalytic Converter Shield is an integral component of our GX550 Skid Plate Assembly. Therefore, if you have already purchased the Skid Plate Assembly, there is no need to buy this shield separately. It's important to note that the skid plate should not be used as a jacking point to avoid any potential damage. The shield comes with all the necessary mounting hardware for a straightforward installation process.

NOTE: Torque down all the M8 bolts to 21 ft-lbs./29 Nm. and M10 bolts to 48 ft-lbs./65 Nm.
