Preparation and Usage

Also delicious when used as a spice base for Tarka Dahl. Just add 100g red lentils and 500ml cold water and simmer for 20 mins.

Bombay Potatoes
You will need...
1 jar Bombay Potato Paste
500g peeled potatoes, diced into approx. 3cm pieces
100ml of water (this measures as 1/2 the empty paste jar)

Why not try...
Also delicious when used as spice base for Tadka Dal. Just add 100g red lentils and 5oml cold water and simmer for 20 mins.

Method
1. Cook the potatoes in a pot filled with boiling salted water for 5 mins and then drain.
2. Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan on medium heat, add the potatoes, the contents of the jar and 100ml of water.
3. Cook for 15 mins or until the potatoes are cooked.
4. Season to taste. Garnish with fresh coriander.
Do not reheat.
